Special Opportunities
Over the years, Harmony has been given many amazing opportunities to share our mission with others. We hope to continue to reach out to those in the Penn State Community and surrounding communities to share the gift of inclusivity.
These events give our students the ability to express their talents, try new things, and showcase who they are. Here are some of our highlights from the past few years:
Penn State Men's Basketball
Our students were asked to help the basketball team run out onto the court before the start of several games. We were also given the chance to perform in front of the entire stadium during half time.
THON
100 DAYS
Performance
A group of Harmony students and volunteers perform a mini-showcase of songs from different Harmony shows at Penn State THON's 100 Days 'Til THON Celebration!
Night to Shine:
Tim Tebow Foundation
Every year our students are given the opportunity to become Prom Queen and Prom King for the night. They celebrate with limousine rides, food, karaoke, and lots of awesome dancing. This night is made especially for them, celebrating their uniqueness.

Harmony is the recipient of the Outstanding Service Award
Our Public Relations Officer, Olivia Golgosky, is the recipient of the Outstanding Officer Award
Our Instructor, Kaylie Shojaie, is the recipient of the Student Leader Scholarship
Performing Arts Council Grant Winners
Harmony was chosen as the recipient for the Performing Arts Council 2019 Arts Impact Grant. We are very thankful to the Performing Arts Council for chosing Harmony. This grant has allowed us to continue to make rehearsals free to all participants
Penn State Homecoming
Parade
Harmony loved being able to celebrate our organization and Penn State by walking in the Homecoming parade. Penn State's Homecoming parade is the largest student-run parade in the nation! It was so much fun to spread our mission.
